LIPSCHITZ p-INTEGRAL OPERATORS AND LIPSCHITZ p-NUCLEAR OPERATORS
In this note we introduce strongly Lipschitz p-integral operators, strongly Lipschitz p-nuclear operators and Lipschitz p-nuclear operators. It is shown that for a linear operator, the Lipschitz p-nuclear norm is the same as its usual p-nuclear norm under certain conditions. We also prove that the Lipschitz 2-dominated operators and the strongly Lipschitz 2-integral operators are the same with ...
متن کاملThe Daugavet Property of the Space of Lipschitz Functions
where Id is the identity operator on C[0, 1]. This equation is now called Daugavet equation. The Banach space X is said to have the Daugavet property when all compact operators on X satisfy the Daugavet equation. More information about the Daugavet spaces can be found in [Werner, 2001]. In the same paper was also posed the question, whether the Banach space of Lipschitz functions on unit square...
متن کاملLIPSCHITZ p-SUMMING OPERATORS
The notion of Lipschitz p-summing operator is introduced. A non linear Pietsch factorization theorem is proved for such operators and it is shown that a Lipschitz p-summing operator that is linear is a p-summing operator in the usual sense.
متن کاملLipschitz Metric for the Hunter–saxton Equation
We study stability of solutions of the Cauchy problem for the Hunter–Saxton equation ut + uux = 14 ( R x −∞ u 2 x dx− R∞ x ux dx) with initial data u0. In particular, we derive a new Lipschitz metric dD with the property that for two solutions u and v of the equation we have dD(u(t), v(t)) ≤ edD(u0, v0).
متن کاملLipschitz Functions of Perturbed Operators
We prove that if f is a Lipschitz function on R, A and B are self-adjoint operators such that rank(A − B) = 1, then f(A) − f(B) belongs to the weak space S1,∞, i.e., sj(A − B) ≤ const(1 + j). We deduce from this result that if A − B belongs to the trace class S1 and f is Lipschitz, then f(A) − f(B) ∈ SΩ, i.e., Pn j=0 sj(f(A) − f(B)) ≤ const log(2 + n). We also obtain more general results about ...
